BENNINGTON COUNTY ASSOCIATION AGAINST CHILD ABUSE

The Bennington County Child Advocacy Center and Special Investigations Unit (BCCAC/SIU) is a multidisciplinary team (MDT) that ensures children and families involved in sexual abuse or allegations resulting in serious physical injury cases receive child-friendly services from law enforcement, prosecution, and protective services.

Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center | Mission: To reduce the trauma to child victims by coordinating a Safe Harbor exists to strengthen the coordinated community response to situations of child maltreatment, including sexual abuse, severe physical abuse, and severe neglect by integrating the existing resources of law enforcement, child protection, prosecution, medical, and therapeutic agencies so that perpetrators are held accountable for their actions and children are not further traumatized by the investigative process.
