California School Boards Foundation
Among the purposes of the Foundation are (1) to provide education, support and training to school board members, (2) to conduct policy research and analysis on education related issues, (3) to recognize educational leadership and achievements in California, (4) to encourage and facilitate the process of cooperative planning and action for research, surveys and demonstrations in the field of education, (5) to disseminate, through appropriate channels, findings and recommendations derived from educational research, whether conducted by the Foundation or by others, (6) to support education-related projects which are of statewide significance and interest; and (7) to seek adequate funds from foundations, corporations, government agencies and other organizations to finance projects of the Foundation which are consistent with the purposes.
