The specific mission of the organization is to fund and construct the Lewis and Clark Historic Park at Kaw Point; to preserve the historical significance of the Lewis and Clark Expedition in Wyandotte County; to interpret the historic, cultural and environmental past of the park; and to support the park and community through special events, educational programming, fundraising, site clean up, trail enhancement, environmental conservation and stewardship.
