After 50 years as a micro-school in Southern Maine, we reopened in 2020 as a co-learning community serving homeschool families with children ages 4-14.

THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED AND OPERATED PRIMARILY TO PROMOTE, SUPPORT AND ENHANCE EDUCATION BY PARTNERING WITH LOCAL SCHOOLS TO ADMINISTER AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS, INCLUDING PROVIDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO ALLOW LOWER-INCOME STUDENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN SUCH PROGRAMS, TO PROVIDE CHILDREN WITH SUPPORT AND OPPORTUNITIES TO DEVELOP THE SKILLS NECESSARY TO GROW INTO CAPABLE, SELF-ASSURED, CONFIDENT INDIVIDUALS THAT ARE CONNECTED TO THEIR COMMUNITIES AND FAMILIES THROUGH COLLABORATION WITH AREA SERVICE PROVIDERS AND SCHOOLS TO DELIVER DIVERSE, FUN AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS.

ACCESS is a non-profit capacity building organization that works to create meaningful relationships building just and peaceful communities where kids are the catalysts for positive change ACCESS was founded by Fernando Ortega in 2013 to develop the interests and leadership skills of underserved children from Albuquerques South Valley by connecting them to mentors educators and professionals.
