Founded during the Civil War, Nevers' Band is one of the oldest continuing musical organizations in The mission of the Nevers' Band, is to perpetuate its tradition of live, high quality performances of music for the benefit and enjoyment of all people, to promote and demonstrate the continuing relevance of modern and traditional concert band music and to preserve the history of the Band's regimental origins.
