The Youngwood Dog Club mission is comprised of four parts: (a) Promote fellowship amongst people who are passionate about dogs and promote responsible dog ownership (b) Provide education for the public regarding issues that impact the health and welfare of dogs (c) Provide financial support to local entities, and help improve and promote Westmoreland County as a more dog friendly place (d) Provide financial support to local rescue shelters .
