To humanely control the domestic pet population in our jurisdiction and re-home as many stray and unwanted animals as possible through 1: collection of unwanted and stray pets; 2: find adoptive homes or rescue organizations which will find adoptive homes; 3: provide temporary shelter for as many as is feasible; 4: Humanely euthanize those pets which cannot be re-homed.
