The Climate Project's mission is to educate the public about the harmful effects of climate change and to work toward solutions at the grassroots level through our volunteer presenters it does so by convening and administering training pro grams to selected trainees who will ultimately serve as volunteer presenters and organized educational seminars throughout the United States to present information on global climate change and work toward solutions at the grass roots level .
