The Cranston Historical Society seeks to promote education by historical study and research; to collect, preserve and exhibit historical materials connected with the City of Cranston; and to maintain the Sprague Mansion and Joy Homestead as historic Museums, providing people of all ages and backgrounds with knowledge, enjoyment and encouragement toward preservation of the past and inspiration to continue our goal of preservation.
