The mission of the Kansas City Suicide Awareness and Prevention Program (KCSAPP) is to eliminate suicide in Kansas City and the surrounding region through advocacy in health policy, initiation of data collection and analysis, organization of community collaboration on assessment and prevention activities, innovative, best practices clinical training, and ongoing  "Zero Suicide" system improvement among mental health, social service and first responder agencies.
