The Host Organization's primary goal was to create a friendly, safe and enjoyable experience for the 17, 000 or more rotarians who traveled from 100 different countries to attend the rotary international convention in New Orleans, LA in 2011 this was accomplished by planning events, fellowship functions, transportation and guidance getting around the city this mission has successfully been accomplished .
