Humane Society for Boone County is a private not for profit 501(c)(3), all volunteer organization dedicated to the task of animal rescue and welfare THE SOCIETY WAS ORGANIZED IN 2007 FOR THE PURPOSE OF PREVENTING CRUELTY TO ANIMALS, PROVIDING CARE AND SHELTER TO ABANDONED AND STRAY ANIMALS, PROMOTING PROPER ANIMAL CARE AND EDUCATION, AND COMPASSIONATELY AND ETHICALLY SERVING THE ANIMALS AND RESIDENTS OF BOONE COUNTY, INDIANA.
