THE BUTTE COUNTY FIRE SAFE COUNCIL'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE WILDFIRE SAFETY IN BUTTE COUNTY THROUGH EDUCATION AND HAZARD MITIGATION AND TO EFFECTIVELY DELIVER THE FIRE SAFE MESSAGE TO INDIVIDUALS IN FOOTHILL COMMUNITIES THAT THEY ARE AT RISK, THAT THEY HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY TO PROTECT THEIR LIVES AND TO EDUCATE THEM AS TO WHAT IT IS THEY NEED TO DO TO PREPARE FOR WILDLAND FIRES.

Strings in Schools gives every 5 to 18-year-old child, who lives in our served areas, the opportunity to play a stringed musical instrument regardless of their economic status.

Paradise Arts Theatre and Culture Hub

To create a thriving arts and cultural destination for Paradise as a part of our town's rebuilding and recovery, reinforcing the unique character and spirit of Paradise; To raise the necessary funds to design, construct and maintain the center in the walkable downtown Paradise; To engage with individuals and organizations of all kinds to maximize collaboration for positive community impacts; and To promote community awareness and engagement with the many varied activities, displays and performances available from our group members.
