THE DAVIS CONTEMPORARY DANCE COMPANY (DAVIS DANCE) IS A MULTICULTURAL, WORLD-CLASS, ARTS ORGANIZATION, WHOSE MISSION IS TO ENRICH THE LIVES OF THE COMMUNITY THROUGH THE POWERFUL LANGUAGE OF DANCE. DAVIS DANCE WAS FORMED FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES WITH THE INTENT OF FURTHERING DANCE EDUCATION AND THE ART OF CONCERT DANCE. DAVIS DANCE IS ACCESSIBLE BY EVERYONE, WITHOUT REGARD TO ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL BACKROUND. OUR GOAL IS TO EXPOSE THOSE WHO MAY NOT NECESSARILY HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPERIENCE THE POWER OF DANCE BY OFFERING LIVE PERFORMANCES, MASTER CLASSES, CHILDREN'S WORKSHOPS, LECTURE DEMONSTRATIONS, AND COLLABORATIONS WITH OTHER ARTISTS.

We have a robust season and you dont want to miss one second of it. Our opening season concert series Transcendence will open at our home the Elaine Wolf Theatre. It will feature two of my works and Davis Dance fan favorites Serenity and Groove Theory along with a new commission and world premiere of FALCO by Robert SherMachherndl Artistic Director of Lemon Sponge Cake Contemporary Ballet and another new commission and company premiere of Scattered Thoughts from emerging choreographer and former Davis Dance Artist Diego Gonzales.
