As National EMS Week 💙🤍💙 comes to a close, we at Manheim Township EMS want to reflect on an incredible week of appreciation, recognition, and unity. On Thursday, we held our annual EMS Week Cookout—an event filled with gratitude, fellowship, and a reminder of why we do what we do. We were deeply honored to welcome a representative from the Honorable Lloyd Smucker office, who read an official notice of gratitude that was formally entered into the Congressional Record. This recognition was in honor of the response to the April 30th plane crash at Brethren Village. Crews from all five responding agencies joined us for the cookout, and we are proud to have stood shoulder to shoulder with our fellow first responders as that commendation was shared. It was a powerful moment that highlighted the strength of teamwork in critical moments. We are especially proud of the dedicated professionals here at Manheim Township EMS 🚑. Their unwavering commitment 💪 to serving the residents of Manheim Township 24/7—through every shift, every call, and every challenge—is truly what defines us.
