Today we congratulate Aine Dorsey who has been at ACS since Kindergarten. Aine will be attending Lipscomb University in Nashville and studying Game Art Design. Aine is a gifted artist and has been very involved in the Fine Arts Department, competing in the Teen Arts Festival and the annual Christmas Card Contest, winning that her Senior year. She also helped design and paint the sets for the last few musicals and plays Besides Visual Arts, she has been on the worship team - Playing bass, singing in the choir and taking Drama Seminar. Aine, as you leave ACS keep seeking the Lord for his guidance and strength. He has a specific purpose and plan for your life and will help direct you to where He wants you to be. Thank you to AtlantiCare's Healthy Schools, Healthy Children program for helping us create more active spaces for our students! Through a Physical Enhancement Grant, we installed a permanent, commercial-grade Gaga Ball pit next to our elementary playground. It’s been a favorite spot for recess, PE classes, and after-school time ever since. Gaga Ball is easy to learn, fun for all ages, and encourages teamwork, friendships, and physical activity.
