Michigan Rowing Association Who we are The Michigan Rowing Association is a 501c3 nonprofit organization representing the alumni and friends of the University of Michigan Mens Rowing Team. Our more than 1000 members work together to support the team and its mission to provide an environment in which the athletes of the Team can train grow and represent the University in intercollegiate competition. Alumni Matthew Herbers bottom row furthest left Mitchell Tyson second from left Wes Vear fourth from left and Alex Brown second from right winning gold at the 2015 World University Games for the USA in South Korea. Alumnus and 2012 Olympian Tom Peszek racing the 2 bow in London.
