Effective October 1, 2016, Prevention First, Inc., Preferred Family of Services, Inc. and Preferred Children's Services, Inc., all New Jersey nonprofit corporations, merged with and into Preferred Behavioral Health of New Jersey, Inc., d/b/a Preferred Behavioral Health Group, a New Jersey nonprofit corporation. On January 1, 2017, Preferred Behavioral Health Group became an affiliate of Oaks Integrated Care. Mission Statement: To deliver quality and compassionate behavioral health services to individuals and families all the time.Vision: To be a center of excellence that focuses on innovative wellness through compassionate care.Values: Integrity, honesty, accountability, respect, compassion.Prevention First is dedicated to strengthening the foundations of children, empowering them to successfully handle difficult everyday life situations as well as extraordinary challenges such as violence and substance abuse.
