Council for Social Foundations of Education CSFE News and Updates Main menu Post navigation John Dewey Society Looking ahead to the 2021 Annual Meeting in Burlington VT JDS in coordination with the North Eastern Philosophy of Education Society and the University of Vermont will hold our next gathering October 8 and 9 2021 in Burlington Vermont. We are especially excited about this conference where we plan to not just talk about Deweyan ideas but putsome into practice through creative workshops and experiential learning opportunities. We are especially looking forward to the Dewey Lecture to be presented byBettina Love. In addition we will have a chance to explore Deweyan ideas about teaching and learning through cooking in the University of Vermonts innovativeJohn Dewey Kitchen Institute and we will visit Deweys grave and his materials at the UVM Library as well.
