Thank you, Assemblyman Steve Hawley, for celebrating Ag Literacy Week with ABCD children and staff! The children loved your animated reading of The Pie That Molly Grew, by Sue Heavenrich. They cannot wait for you to come back and join them in the garden! NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets New York Agriculture in the Classroom (fb)

ABCD centers joyfully celebrated Ag Literacy Week! Parents, staff, growers, and community partners across NYS spent the week with children reading The Pie That Molly Grew, by Sue Heavenrich. Together they then planted pumpkin seeds for center gardens! Younger children made handprints with orange paint enhanced with cinnamon. A delight for the senses! Such a wonderful way to welcome Spring!! NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets New York Agriculture in the Classroom (fb)
