 Members, our newsletter is in progress and will be out in April containing half of the year schedule. All hunts in Southeast Michigan and weekends in the Lewiston area will be members only so please join us if you are not a member and interested in the schedule of hunts and how to get online in the members only section of our website. The application form is on the website which is www.Michiganmushroomhunters.org. Mid Michigan educational field events will be announced to members only. We will follow pandemic guidelines of Our local CWC & Ingals preserves and Isabella CountyParks. We are doing this to keep participation within pandemic outlines.. There will be no educational field experiences in Michigan Nature Association preserves until MNA headquarters in Lansing announces that we will start doing this again. There will be announcements later concerning workshops forcertification by the Michigan department of agriculture to sell mushrooms foraged in the wild. Please remember that NAMA, the North American Mycological Association, membership is discounted to members of the Michigan club. They are sponsoring zoom classes free of charge to members At this time. We are also having a vote on whether or not we have a national foray in the state of Colorado. Results of the survey will be announced in a month or so.. I am positive that if the Colorado national foray is canceled this year that there’s still will be many talks online via zoom and the four-way site will be moved forward another year. Please also remember that this is not a mushroom identification site.
