About the Flying Pilgrims RC Model Club The Flying Pilgrims is a radiocontrolled airplane club located in the Eastern part of Superior Township. Our club consists of under 200 members ranging from the beginner to the expert that enjoy flying electrics helicopters jets aerobatic planes and war birds. The club facility consists of a500 by 40paved runway that is also paralleled by groomed grass. Visiting a typical day at the flying field a person would enjoy the sights and sounds of model aircraft ranging from smaller glow powered planes to some of the areas nicest gasoline powered giant scale masterpieces.
