AARF is a all-volunteer rescue group founded in 2007 that has been working with individuals, other rescue groups and animal shelters providing food and helping with vet costs. We have rescued and placed countless dogs and other small animals in to loving forever homes! While we continue our work locally, in the last several years AARF began working with rescues in the south to pull dogs from high kill shelters and find them forever homes in the Pacific Northwest. Since 80% of the dogs in these rural shelters are euthanized, we have put in place a very low cost spay/neuter program targeting people that surrender dogs and puppies to the shelter as well as anyone else that needs our assistance.
