HEY, LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL & MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS! Thanks to local youth who voted through the Youth Power Participatory Budgeting process, our Ocean Action Leadership Camp will be fully funded this summer! 🌊 From July 7 to August 18, we’ll bring together 60 Long Beach youth for six weeks of hands-on learning, leadership development, and time on the coast! The camp is designed to help young people build confidence, grow as leaders, and deepen their relationship with the ocean. Activities like kayaking, microplastics research, and organizing cleanups will give students meaningful ways to care for their community and environment.
