Friends of the Railroad in Victor, NY offers living history of railroads and the folks who used them. The Friends of the Railroad (FORR) is a not-for-profit educational and historical organization founded in 2008. Our mission is to provide a living history of rail transportation and its’ impact on the community through the acquisition, restoration, operation, preservation and protection of railroad artifacts, equipment, property and facilities. Acquisitions and programs offered are intended to inform, educate and enlighten, enhance tourism and recreation, preserve and promote the past, present and future of rail transportation.
