Her most recent work, My Favourite Cake, co-written and co-directed with her husband Behtash Sanaeeha, premiered to global acclaim at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival in 2024. The film has been hailed for its bravery, elegance, and powerful social commentary—cementing its place as one of the standout Iranian films of the year.
