Puget Sound Sage
Charting a path to a living economy in the South Salish Sea and Duwamish River Valley by developing community power to influence, lead and govern. Puget Sound Sage combines research, innovative public policy and organizing to ensure all people have an affordable place to live, a good job, a clean, healthy environment, and access to public transportation. Puget Sound Sage charts a path to a living economy in Washington State and the Greater Puget Sound by developing community power to influence, lead, and govern. At Sage, we envision a people-centered economy where Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) workers, families and communities thrive and where we live in sustainable relationship with our land. To achieve this vision, we build community power to create just and equitable housing, climate, and economic policies through organizing, coalition building, policy work, and research. Sage has worked for over a decade to build power, resources, collaboration, to create economic justice and climate resilience strategies that are fundamentally grounded in community needs and driven by community leadership.
