Marshall Relief Alliance is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organized for disaster relief, long-term recovery, and long-term community development in Marshall, NC and the broader Southern Appalachian region. Our mission is to remove barriers to accessing the resources necessary for rebuilding lives, homes, and livelihoods following natural disasters, while fostering resilient, inclusive, and thriving communities. Our work encompasses a wide range of activities, including emergency supply distribution, volunteer coordination, case-management, housing solutions, resource management, and community-led projects aimed at addressing immediate needs, while fostering long-term resilience. Marshall Relief Alliance aims to restore and strengthen the social, economic, and cultural fabric of our region.

MARSHALL RELIEF ALLIANCE About Us Our Work Ways to Help Events Volunteer Portal More For Community By Community Marshall Relief Alliance emerged from within our community as a response to the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene on our town residents and surrounding area. Recognizing the immediate and longterm needs in the wake of the storm our local grassroots iniaitive was established to provide urgent relief and sustained recovery support to Marshall NC and our neighbors. Our mission is to support our community through every stage of recovery with the resources and support needed for a sustainable future and lasting resilience. GRASSROOTS DISASTER RESPONSE SUPPORTING THE RECOVERY OF MARSHALL NC AND OUR NEIGHBORS THROUGH THE AFTERMATH OF HURRICANE HELENE 900 Tons of mud and debri removed 6000 Volunteers processed trained and dispatched 990 Heaters Generators supplied to community members in need 10000 Meals served through the community kitchen DISASTER RESPONSE Entirely volunteerled we began as a crucial line of support in disaster clean up and relief efforts.
