Oregon Association for the Education of young children

ORAEYC is a state affiliate of NAEYC, the leading voice for advocacy of young children and early childhood practitioners. ORAEYC is the Oregon state affiliate of the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Founded in 1947 and incorporated in 1970, the Oregon AEYC is the largest early childhood organization in Oregon. As an advocate for high quality early care and education, ORAEYC works with state agencies, the Oregon Legislature and other organizations to improve the care and education of children from birth through age eight. We promote high-quality early learning for all children, birth through age 8, by connecting practice, policy, and research. We advance a diverse, dynamic early childhood profession and support all who care for, educate, and work on behalf of young children. ORAEYC also sponsors two statewide conferences each year and numerous training activities to meet the professional development of our members and others in the early childhood community.
