At SproutFive, formerly South Side Early Learning, we believe every child deserves a holistic, high-quality early education. Our goal is to ensure that all children are given the opportunity to thrive during their first five years of life. With a century of history and a startup mindset, SproutFive is looking to position itself as a national leader and reimagine the field of early learning. Our model is to co-locate early education and child care within nonprofit hubs, education institutions, affordable housing complexes, and employers to reduce barriers for families. In doing so, we see early education as the first and most effective mechanism for community development.

SproutFive SproutFive to Close Its Doors After More Than 100 Years of Service After more than a century of dedicated service to early childhood education through the legacy of South Side Learning and Development Center SproutFive announced that it has ceased operations. The unprecedented challenges of the past years including the ongoing impacts of COVID19 and changes in community needs necessitated this difficult decision. However there is a hopeful path forward thanks to our historic partnerships with other like minded community service organizations. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve and support so many children and families in Central Ohio for so many years.
