Rivers of Steel Announces the Acquisition of RiverQuest Homestead PA August 31 2016 Rivers of Steel Heritage Corporation managers of the Rivers of Steel National Heritage Area announced today it has completed the acquisition of RiverQuest the floating environmental education vessel and program and its ship Explorer. The union comes more than two years after the organizations formally announced they were exploring a merger leading to a series of negotiations and studies between the nonprofit groups.
