The Legacy Center focuses on developing life literacy: competency and knowledge in the areas of academics, language development, communication and fitness. Dedicated to enhancing educational and life opportunities for learners with disabilities and diverse challenges through our programs at the Legacy Center (www.theLCnet.com). Our programs are family inclusive because we know that the greatest advocates and the main support for these individuals are those that live life alongside them. Our programs are literacy based where that definition equates to competency. Our goal is to grow individual skills across all realms of life, from reading literacy to physical literacy. Our core programs include language and communication, academic skills and practice, art and creativity, and movement and fitness.
