To improve the health of individuals living in the Peruvian Amazon by teaching community health workers medical knowledge, skills and preventative health measures to better their lives and those of their communities.

CU Peru

There’s no oxygen in the lungs of the world. CU Peru works in the communities outside of Iquitos, the largest city in the world with no roads that lead to it. There is a major shortage of oxygen and medical supplies in the area that have contributed to hundreds of deaths.
