💼⚖ Last week, 11th grader Jannya represented Boston Collegiate at the MA State House's annual #StudentGovernmentDay! The day provides high school students with an opportunity to learn firsthand about state government, and enables government officials to get to know local students. Students are able to voice their positions on current issues through debates and participate in the legislative process through committee hearings. Jannya said, “I got to learn so much about different roles involved in the Massachusetts state house and collaborated with many different people. I even met State Representative David Biele and we talked about if I was on the side of limiting minor social media usage or against it.
