Golden State Salmon Association (GSSA) respects the vital role that salmon play in our environment and in our communities. Salmon revival is our passion! GSSA’s mission is to restore California salmon for their economic, recreational, commercial, environmental, cultural and health values. GSSA is a coalition of salmon advocates that includes commercial and recreational anglers, small businesses, native tribe members, environmentalists, elected officials, and communities that rely on healthy waterways and salmon. The board of directors and members of GSSA are a diverse group of sport fisherman, nature lovers, food experts, conservationists and wildlife advocates. Many give their time and expertise to speak to groups about our conservation and advocacy efforts and recruit more allies for the California Salmon. Our Events staff organize trips for youth to inspire the next generation of environmentalists
