Diasporal Rhythms – Art Collectors SEARCH EVENT Diasporal Rhythms Our mission is to collect promote and preserve art from the African Diaspora by encouraging individuals and institutions to appreciate and acquire this art Discover Our History Your support is vital and helps the Diasporal Rhythms to share the collection with the world. Our Vision Purpose In 2003 Diasporal Rhythms was founded by Carol J. Briggs Joan Crisler Patric McCoy and Daniel T. Parker as a direct result of a panel discussion at the South Side Art Centers Collectors Forum where a spirited discussion demonstrated the need for organized action by art collectors to expand the appreciation of contemporary visual art created by artists of the African diaspora.
