CANTER Colorado connects new owners with retiring racehorses in search of a new career. CANTER Colorado is a 501(c)3 non-profit committed to reducing unwanted horses in Colorado by working to find retiring racehorses second careers and long-term homes. We do this work through two channels: a) we offer a free listing service to racetrack trainers and b) we take select horses into our Aftercare program for rehabilitation, retraining, and re-homing.
