This week, our staff convened for a two-day retreat in our home city of Detroit. As a national nonprofit, we are grateful for the opportunity for our full team to gather in person for presentations, strategic planning, and much more. We were also joined by Access of West Michigan who presented a workshop including a role-playing exercise where staff experienced poverty firsthand. This is incredibly important as our program teams work to create deeper community impact. (fb)
