AOII is recognized for its commitment to promoting values such as integrity, tolerance, generosity, personal dignity, and love.

History

Members wear specific pins to represent their membership status, including a sheaf of wheat pin for new members and a membership badge adorned with a ruby for initiated members.

Philanthropy

Alpha Omicron Pi actively participates in philanthropic efforts, primarily through its foundation, which focuses on arthritis research and support for those affected by the disease. Since 1967, AOII has partnered with the Arthritis Foundation, engaging in fundraising and volunteering initiatives. Notable campaigns include "AOII Goes Blue" for arthritis awareness and "Strike Out Arthritis!" (SOA), a signature fundraising event held in collaboration with Major League Baseball.
