Helping Hands Food Ko-Op's mission is to feed those in need while allowing them to maintain their dignity. Helping Hands works on a unique model by operating as a synthesis of food bank and co-op. Members are charged based on financial need: those who can afford to pay wholesale costs do so, while those who can't receive the food they need at free or reduced rates based on need. Members choose the food that suits their needs from our ever expanding list of healthy options, and are billed separately from pickup to maintain the dignity of those unable to afford.Helping Hands Food Ko-Op serves the South Florida community.
