Reducing the burden of diabetes through physical activity and peer support. Insulindependence (IN) is a nonprofit member association dedicated to uniting, expanding, and supporting the active diabetes community. With support from over 4,000 individual members, 8,000 donors and a growing number of member organizations, we are a leading authority in exercise and recreation for people living with diabetes. Through excellence in member services, outreach and education we are actively pursuing our vision to reduce the burden of diabetes in the United States through physical activity and peer support.
