The Schweikher House was designed by Paul Schweikher as his home & studio. Built in 1938, it is on the National Register of Historic Places.
Visiting Hours: Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am - 2pm and second Saturdays of each month from 10am - 2pm. The purpose and mission of the Trust is to educate the public about the historic Schweikher House and its renowned architect; to provide stewardship of this landmark building and its grounds; and, to raise funds, for the ongoing maintenance, preservation and promotion as a community asset.

The House The Schweikher House is the only listing on the National Register of Historic Places in Schaumburg Illinois. A sophisticatedly organic integration of eastern and western cultural sensibilities. The Architect Paul Schweikher was the principal and senior partner in the firm Schweikher and Elting 19461958 chairman of the School of Architecture at Yale University 19531956 and the head of the Department of Architecture at the Carnegie Institute of Technology 19561968.
