Discover The History of Hancock County Indiana The Hancock County Historical Society HCHS welcomes you to take a visit through the history of Hancock County Indiana. We are a local mostly volunteer group that is a notforprofit 5013 organization. The HCHS is located in the Chapel in the Park Museum and the Old Log Jail Museum at 26 and 28 North Apple Street in Greenfield Indiana. The historical society has a large collection of items in both the Old Log Jail Museum and in the Chapel in the Park Museum with most of the displays located in the Chapels basement.
