The Community Foundation connects people who care with causes that matter. The Community Foundation connects people who care with causes that matter. We are a grant maker, endowment builder, donor advisor and community connector. We provide a way for donors with varied interests and varied levels of giving capabilities to fulfill their charitable intent. By developing permanent endowments and other funds, current and future needs of the area are being met by our own residents. The Community Foundation also is a resource and catalyst for charitable activities in the region serving 12 counties in West Central Illinois & Northeast Missouri.

The Samantha Otte Youth Opportunity Fund was established to honor Samantha’s spirit by giving back to the areas she loved most: the arts, leadership, and service. Since the beginning, the fund has helped countless young people in Quincy grow, learn, and lead. Nonprofit organizations serving youth are encouraged to apply for grants by October 1 at mycommunityfoundation.
