Friends of CWLA ABOUT US OUR MISSION It is our mission to enhance and support the educational experience of all students at Chicago World Language Academy CWLA to develop a closer connection between school and home by encouraging parent involvement and to improve the environment at CWLA through building community while providing volunteer and financial support. FoCWLA serves as the fundraising body to support our students under policies set by the elected Local School Council. EVENTS AND VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES CULTURAL EVENTS We host and sponsor many events throughout the year both during the school day and after hours such as Hispanic Heritage Asian Heritage European Heritage and Black History Month. If youre interested in promoting world languages and heritage please join our Cultural Committee.
