The Techlinc Project

The TechLINC Project, Inc. is a New York-based 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that was incorporated on April 25, 2008. TechLINC is an acronym for “Technology for Learning, Information, Networking, and Careers”. The not-for-profit organization was formed to provide computer technology and solutions - through accessibility and availability - for at-risk and economically disadvantaged persons (students, adults, families, people with disabilities, and the elderly) who are often underserved and have limited resources.The mission of The TechLINC Project is to the assist in eliminating the technological information digital divide in minority-based and at-risk communities. The TechLINC Project will be committed to bridging the gap between those who have access to technology and those who do not. The TechLINC Project is dedicated to providing the community with the tools needed to succeed and the opportunity to lead more independent and productive lives with the use of computer technology. The TechLINC Project’s primary goal is to provide capacity building strategies for at-risk persons and underserved minority-based communities in metropolitan areas through extensive support services, training, technical assistance, and program monitoring in relationship to technology advancement.TechLINC’s vision is to increase our clients and participants effectiveness in addressing the programmatic, cultural and societal issues faced on a daily basis in regards to technology. The organization will provide strong leadership, excellent organization, superior client services, and dedication to serving our target population. TechLINC will continuously specialize in providing access to services and training for the at-risk and underserved persons in order for them to achieve their goals technologically in the world today.
