Fine motor materials provide children with the opportunity to strengthen the small muscles in their hands as well as develop eye-hand coordination. Fine motor control helps children with tasks such as feeding, dressing, drawing and writing. At Queen City Early Childhood Center, the teachers create opportunities for the children to practice these important skills.
