The Humane Society of Sumner County (HSSC) is a small, private, non-profit (501c3) service organization that helps the homeless animals in our community. The Humane Society of Sumner County (HSSC) is committed to finding responsible guardians for homeless animals, controlling pet overpopulation through our SANS (Spay and Neuter Sumner County) Campaign, collaborative efforts to end the euthanasia of adoptable animals, reunification of lost animals with their guardians, the promotion of humane education, and the compassionate treatment of all animals.
