Zen Center of Pittsburgh, is a Soto Zen Buddhist Temple founded in 1999. The Zen Center serves the community by offering services, daily meditation and monthly and annual Zen meditation intensive retreats. We are located just thirty minutes north of Pbg. Zen Center of Pittsburgh (ZCP) is organized as a Soto Zen Buddhist Temple. Its mission is to enable all beings to awaken to their true nature. Towards this end, Zen Center of Pittsburgh applies the teachings of the historical Buddha and all those individuals who have transmitted his teachings to this time and place.
