CVRTC is an all-volunteer, non-profit that is developing the Cumberland Valley Trail, from Shippensburg to Carlisle, in Cumberland County PA. CVRTC is an all volunteer corporation formed to acquire and develop abandoned rail corridors within the Cumberland Valley into public-use trails that will allow safe exercise, recreation and non-motorized transportation and aesthetically enhance the neighboring areas, while preserving the natural resources and history of the corridors. Opportunities for community service and improved quality of life are the desired outcomes.
